Wednesday's NH County girls soccer roundup: Guilford, Branford clinch SCC playoff berths

Cheshire 5, Lyman Hall 0 >> Leah Chamberlain had two goals and an assist and Lily Dolyak added a goal and an assist to lead the Rams to their SCC Housatonic Division win in Wallingford.

Goalie Zoe Riccio had two saves for the Rams (8-3). Goalie Melissa Carubba had five saves for the Trojans (0-9).

Wilbur Cross 3, East Haven 2 >> Shea Connors had two goals and an assist for Wilbur Cross in this SCC Oronoque Division game at New Haven.

Rachel Brennan also scored for the Governors. Nicole Avena had a goal and an assist for the Easties.

Hamden Hall 5, Westover 2 >> Melinda Villanueva and Haley Delmolino both scored twice for Hamden Hall (5-2-2) in a prep school home win.

Shelton 1, Sheehan 0 >> Laurel Bailey scored at 18:50 to lead the Gaels to their SCC win in Wallingford.

Goalie Jessica Wilm had seven saves for the Gaels (3-5-3). Goalie Joelle MarkAnthony had six saves for the Titans (4-6-1).
