Janelle Harrison led all scorers with 17 points. Mya Villard had nine points and Araya Lessard added eight points for the Panthers (19-1).

Middletown 72, Platt 51 >> Senior guard Rajeen Mayo had 18 points to lead four Blue Dragons in double figures Wednesday night at Meriden.
Brielle Wilborn had 14 points, Evahna McDaniel had 12 points, and Tamyia King added 11 points for Middletown (13-7, 12-2 CCC South), which finished in second place in the CCC South.
Brianna Sheftel had 16 points for Platt (6-14).

Xavier 66, North Haven 45 >> Sophomore guard Thomas Jackson had a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead the visiting Falcons.
Elijah Pemberton scored 17 points and Brandon MacPherson had 12 points for Xavier (13-6), which snapped a two-game skid.
Josh Lopez had 14 points and Matt DeFrancesco had 12 points for North Haven (4-15).
Minor League pro baseball
Former Haddam-Killingworth star Steve Landell signed a professional baseball contract with the Normal (Illinois) Cornbelters, of the Frontier League.
Landell, of Higganum, is a recent graduate of the Southern Connecticut State University baseball program.
The southpaw made 10 pitching appearances, including six starts last season for the Owls. Landell had a 3.59 ERA with 37 strikeouts in 42 innings. Opposing batters hit just .226 off the left-hander in 2013.
