Coming in at No. 7 on the 2013 Litchfield County best fall team list if the Torrington girls’ volleyball team.
The Red Raiders had a great regular season, going 17-2, losing to Woodland and Granby, who they then beat on the final day of the season.
Led by seniors, Kiley Rosengrant, Shelby Consolini and Jenna Gyuricsko the Red Raiders set their sights on an NVL Championship, but they would fall short, both in regular season and NVL Tournament.
They would go on to capture the Copper Division title, they finished second in the NVL during the season, and reached the NVL Tournament finals before falling to Woodland again for the second time this past season.
Woodland would go on to win the State Championship in Class M as the No. 1 seed in the tournament.
Going into the Class L State Tournament the Red Raiders earned the No. 8 seed.
