As expected, North Haven took a grand leap into the GameTimeCT / New Haven Register Top 10 Poll following its 41-21 victory over North Haven.
The Indians, who sat at No. 11 a week ago, jumped four spots to No. 7. Notre Dame-West Haven wasn’t penalized too much. The Green Knights dropped from No. 5 to No. 10.
Brookfield was the only Top 10 casualty after losing two of its best players to injury and succumbing to Newtown 42-14.
Shelton, which faces Notre Dame-West Haven at home on Friday, jumped a spot to No. 5. Newtown leaped from No. 8 to No. 6.
Ansonia and Glastonbury jumped up one spot to Nos. 8 and 9, respectively.
