The Day of New London’s coaches poll started the year off voting Xavier No. 1.
With the Falcons’ loss to North Haven, the coaches have shook things up a bit.
New Canaan received five No. 1 votes and pulled into a tie with Ansonia (six first-place votes) atop the latest poll. Norwich Free Academy retained two first-place votes and remained at No. 3.
Unlike the GameTimeCT/New Haven Register poll, the coaches dropped Xavier out of the Top 10 and slotted in its conqueror, North Haven, into No. 6.
Shelton and Darien also debut.
