Cromwell at Valley Regional boys, today, 3:45 p.m.: The winner will host a Shoreline Conference tournament semifinal-round game on Wednesday while the loser has to travel.
SCC Tournament semifinals girls, today, 6 p.m.: Defending champion and top seed Guilford hosts No. 5 Lauralton Hall and No. 2 Cheshire hosts No. 3 Shelton. It’s the third matchup for both semis.
SCC Tournament semifinals boys, today, 7 p.m.: Top-seeded Lyman Hall hosts No. 5 Fairfield Prep while No. 2 Hand hosts No. 3 Shelton in a battle of unbeatens.
SCC Tournament final girls and boys, at East Haven, Wednesday, 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.: Last year, Xavier beat Guilford in overtime to claim the boys title while Guilford beat Branford for the girls crown.
Shoreline Conference tournament semifinals, boys and girls, Wednesday, at site of higher seed, times TBA: The top-seeded Morgan girls host No. 4 Coginchaug while No. 3 Haddam-Killingworth travels to No. 2 Old Lyme. In the boys semis, Old Lyme and either Valley Regional or Cromwell will host games. Haddam-Killingworth also qualified.

• The Foran girls soccer team qualified for the Class M state tournament, the first time since the 2007 season.
• E.O. Smith boys’ coach John Blomstrann won his 500th career game on Oct. 20, beating Rockville 4-1. He is the first soccer coach in the state to achieve the milestone.
