North Haven at Branford girls, Friday, 6:30 p.m.: Assuming North Haven beats Wilbur Cross today, Branford needs a win or a tie to defend its SCC Oronoque title.
Hand at Guilford girls and boys, Saturday, 5 and 7 p.m.: The SCC Hammonasset Division titles will be decided here. The defending champions, the Guilford girls and Hand boys, are currently unbeaten in division play.
The Suffield boys soccer team had its 43-game winning streak snapped Friday by Avon. The game resulted in a 1-1 overtime tie. Suffield and Granby (1987) now share the state record.
