Capital Region Athletic League

The Capitol Region Athletic League was formed in 2013 by the Capitol Region Education Council magnet schools, among them the four current members Civic Leadership-Enfield (formerly Public Safety), Aerospace-Windsor, Metro Learning Center-Bloomfield and Innovation-New Britain. Based around the Greater Hartford area, the CRAL sponsors baseball, softball, soccer, girls volleyball, cross country, basketball, track and field. While football is not sponsored, the CREC schools co-op to form an independent football team, the CREC Colts. The league added Hartford's Achievement First magnet school for its inaugural season and later welcomed CSC castaways Hartford University magnet and Parish Hill of (not-so-nearby) Chaplin for the 2017-18 season.
