Lewis Mills earned its second victory of the season after defeating Wolcott 6-3 Saturday afternoon. The Spartans’ Justin Gallicchio picked up the victory and Jack Nepomuceno earned the save. Wolcott’s Charles Ciampi recorded three doubles. Lewis Mills’ James Principi had two RBI’s. Lewis Mills is 2-0, Woloctt is 0-3.

Bethel 7, Wamogo 0 >> Bethel got off to a fast start to defeat Wamogo. The Wildcats scored one run in the first and three in the third to take an early 4-0 lead. The Warriors’ Jordan Bergs, Tristan Pepin and Matt Rollins pitched for Wamogo. Bergs recorded five strikeouts in the loss. Bethel is 2-0, Wamogo is 1-1.

East Granby 9, Litchfield 0 >> Litchfield could not get its offense going against East Granby. The Crusaders’ Genna Hartman picked up the victory, striking out 13. The Cowgirls’ JJ Polityka earned the loss and struck out three. East Granby’s McKenzie Denno had two RBI’s. Jessica Grabinsky and Sabrina Barry each had one RBI in the win.
