The Sacred Heart Greenwich lacrosse team remained on a roll on its Senior Day, downing visiting Berkshire School, 21-4.
The 14-1 Tigers received two goals and two assists from senior Ryan Smith and two goals and one assist from senior Caroline Paul. Senior Hilary Hoover tallied twice, while seniors Athena Corroon, Molly Haggerty and Teaken Haggerty each had one goal to also pace the victors.
“It was a total tam effort against Berkshire at home today,” Sacred Heart coach Tara Clough said. “We celebrated our seniors. Every senior has an important role on this team. I am grateful for the exceptional leadership we have and look forward to a strong finish to the season.”
Junior Morgan Smith recorded a hat trick, while junior Katie Keller scored twice for Sacred Heart. Lily DeConcini (one goal, one assist), Dylan Drury (one goal, one assist), Hannah Dempsey (one goal), Mia Cesare (two goals, three ground balls) and Peyton Lauricella (three ground balls) also led the Tigers.
Rachel Keefe made four saves for Sacred Heart, which visits Taft School on Saturday.
