Notre Dame-West Haven’s home basketball game against Hamden Friday night will be more than just a big game between Southern Connecticut Conference rivals beginning at 7 p.m.
Notre Dame and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation to help raise money towards to help benefit juvenile diabetes. Senior Jaiden Kimbro’s younger sister, Ava, has juvenile diabetes.
There will be T-shirts, a 50-50 raffle and baked goods sold at the game and at the school today (Thursday) and Friday. There will also be halftime activities Friday. All will go towards raising money and awareness towards the disease.
This is the sixth straight year Notre Dame is hosting a benefit game fund-raiser to raise awareness towards a disease.
