Michelle Federico – MVP
Cheshire, Sr., Midfielder
Stats: Had 20 goals and 15 assists to lead Cheshire to the CIAC Class L final. She holds the school record for assists in a season (21 in 2012) and most assists in a game (5 in 2012).
Honors: Two-time All-Area MVP, two-time MVP of the SCC tournament, first team All-State and All-SCC, Regional All-American as a junior.
Off the field: SCC All-Academic team. Also plays
lacrosse and competes in indoor track.

Eileen Gallagher – COACH OF THE YEAR
Stats: Sixth-year coach led team to its third regular season SCC title and league tournament championship. Rams finished 20-3 overall and 10-0 in the SCC and advanced to Class L championship game. The team advanced to the Class L final the last three seasons, winning the title in 2011 over Norwalk. She has a 97-21-2-2 career record.
Honors: Three-time Register All-Area Coach of the Year, 2013 SCC Coach of the Year, CIAC Class L Coach of the Year in 2013 and 2010.
Off the field: Teaches English at Cheshire, coaches the Rams freshman girls basketball team and is a former assistant field hockey coach at Quinnipiac.
Haddam-Killingworth, Sr., Forward/Midfielder
Stats: Had 19 goals and four assists and finished ranked No. 2 all-time in H-K scoring with 50 goals and 20 assists.
Honors: Shoreline Conference Player of the Year, first team All-State, played in the CHSCA Senior Select All-Star game and U.S. Lacrosse All-American honorable mention.
Off the field: National Honor Society, ranked No. 7 academically in her class, class officer, All-State and All-Area in lacrosse and basketball.
Up next: Will play lacrosse at Babson College.
Cheshire, Sr., Midfielder
Stats: Had seven goals and 10 assists to lead her team to its third straight SCC tournament title.
Honors: All-SCC first team and All-State second team selection.
Off the field: All-State and SCC All-Academic scholar athlete, women’s club leadership in athletics award, member National Honor Society and National English honor society, co-president Best Buddies club. Also competes in indoor track and lacrosse.
Lauralton Hall, Jr., Defender
Stats: Team’s point player on transition from defense to offense, Brewster was an integral part of a defense that allowed only 11 goals last season. Had six goals and eight assists and led the Crusaders to a scoreless tie in the SWC championship game with Pomperaug.
Honors: First team All-State and All-SWC selection. Played in the Junior Select All-Star game.
Off the field: Also plays softball.
Lauralton Hall, Sr., Midfielder
Stats: Had a single-season school record 22 goals along with 16 assists. Was the flyer on the penalty corner defensive unit that allowed only four goals all season. Led the Crusaders to an 18-1-1 record and the Class M championship final.
Honors: Three-time first team All-State and All-SWC.
Off the field: All-State scholar athlete,

Westbrook, Jr., Midfielder
Stats: Daughter of Janet Dickey, the Westbrook coach, she had nine goals and six assists to lead the White Knights to a 10-4-4 record and the Class S quarterfinals.
Honors: First team All-State and All-Shoreline, named 2014 field hockey captain.
Off the field: Also competes in gymnastics and softball, member of the math team, 2013 National Futures Championship participant and an All-Shoreline scholar athlete.
Cheshire, Sr., Forward
Stats: Led Rams to the SCC regular-season title with team-leading 22 goals and 17 assists. Holds five school records including career points (210), career assists (52), single-season points (68) and freshman goals record (12). Ended her career with 79 goals and 52 assists.
Honors: Three-time All-Area pick, first team All-SCC and second team All-State.
Off the field: Member of Best Buddies club and plays ice hockey.
Up next: Will play lacrosse and field hockey at Southern Connecticut State, where she will major in education.
Hand, Sr., Defender
Stats: One of the top defenders in the state, she was a big reason Hand limited opponents to 17 goals this season. She had three goals and seven assists and led the Tigers to an 18-3-1 record as they advanced to the Class M semifinals.
Honors: Two-time All-Area and All-SCC and also All-State pick. Selected to play in the seniorall-star game, All-American nominee.
Off the field: Captain of the ice hockey team, honor student, Peer Advocate.
Hand, Sr., Forward
Stats: Set single-season scoring record with with 25 goals and 13 assists. Had two hat tricks this season (both against SCC champ Cheshire). Led Hand to the Class M semifinals where she played the game in a cast with an open fracture on her right hand and scored in a 2-1 loss.
Honors: First team All-State and All-SCC, played in Senior Select All-Star game.
Off the field: Honors student, will captain the lacrosse team, plays in the Hand marching band and concert band, nominated for Madison exchange club student of the year.
North Branford, Jr., Forward
Stats: Had 11 goals and seven assists to finish as the No. 2 scorer in the Shoreline Conference. Led the Thunderbirds to an 11-6 record. Has 17 goals and 10 assists for her career.
Honors: Two-time All-Shoreline, first team All-State, played in the Junior Select All-star game.
Off the field: High honor student, Shoreline Conference scholar athlete, also plays softball and enjoys horseback riding.
Guilford, Sr., Midfielder
Stats: Had two goals and eight assists playing center-midfield, where she was instrumental on defense and distributing the ball. Led Guilford to a 12-5-1 record.
Honors: First team All-State and All-SCC selection and played in the Senior Select All-Star game.
Off the field: National Honor Society, All-American scholar-athlete in lacrosse.
Hand, Jr., Midfielder
Stats: Daughter of coach Sue Leckey had eight goals and 10 assists, but her strength is with ball distribution, initiating the offensive attack and playing defense. Led Hand to No. 7 final ranking in the state coaches poll.
Honors: First team All-State and All-SCC pick, played in the Junior Select all-star game.
Off the field: High honors student, plays softball.
Guilford, Sr., Forward
Stats: Ranked fourth among SCC players in scoring with 14 goals and 11 assists. In the first round of the Class M state tournament, she scored the game-winning goal in the third overtime period for a 2-1 win over Pomperaug.
Honors: First team All-State and All-SCC selection and played in the Senior Select all-star game.
Off the field: Honor roll, Peer minister, Pilgrim Fellowship member.
Branford, Jr., Forward
Stats: Had five goals and 12 assists and played on offensive and defensive corners.
Honors: First team All-State and All-SCC selection and played in the Junior Select All-Star game.
Off the field: High honor student, National Honor Society book award, Rotary Club student of the month, World Language Honor Society, AngelRide volunteer, Board of Education student representative, model congress and also competes in outdoor track.
Hamden, Sr., Midfielder
Stats: Had four goals and seven assists and excelled on both ends of the field. Led the Green Dragons to an 8-7-1-1 record. Had 17 goals and nine assists for her four-year career.
Honors: First team All-State and All-SCC selection.
Off the field: Member of the Human Relations Club.
