Won event at SCC meet and was second in Class LL. Won 100 butterfly at State Open and SCC meet and was second in Class LL. Won 400 freestyle relay at SCC and was second at State Open and in Class LL. Won SCC title in the 200 freestyle.
Honors: All-SCC and Class LL coaches all-state selection.

Stats: Led the Rams to a 9-1 dual-meet record in the SCC and an 11-3 mark overall. Cheshire placed second at the SCC championship meet and eighth in Class LL. Rams enjoyed their best season since 2007.
Honors: Named the SCC Division I Coach of the Year this season.
Karl Bishop
Cheshire, sophomore
Stats: Finished second in the SCC, fifth in Class LL and sixth at the State Open
in the 500 freestyle. Holds the school record in that event.

Brandon Cole

Stats: Set state record by winning 200 freestyle relay (1:23.18) at State Open. Won event at SCC meet and was 2nd in Class LL. 1st in SCC in 200 individual medley, 5th in Class LL and 5th at State Open, 1st in 500 freestyle in SCC, 2nd in Class LL and 4th at State Open, 1st in 400 freestyle relay in SCC, 2nd in Class LL and 2nd at State Open.
Honors: All-SCC and Class LL coaches all-state selection.
Bjorn Davis
Fairfield Prep, senior
Stats: Set state record (1:23.18) by winning 200 freestyle relay at State Open. Won event at SCC meet and was 2nd in Class LL. 1st in SCC in 50 freestyle, 2nd in Class LL and 2nd at State Open, 1st in SCC in 100 freestyle, 3rd in Class LL and 3rd at State Open, 1st in 400 freestyle relay in SCC, and 2nd at Class LL and State Open.
Honors: All-SCC and Class LL coaches all-state selection. The 2013 Register MVP.
Up next: Will swim at Navy in the fall.
Joshua Furth
Hopkins, senior
Stats: Won the 100 butterfly and the 100 backstroke at the Bud Erich Western New England championship. Placed eighth in the backstroke and 13th in the 200 freestyle at the New England Prep School Swimming Association Championships.
Honors: NEPSSA all-star, Academic All-American, CT Swimming scholar-athlete and USA Swimming Scholastic All-American.
John Hoin
Fairfield Prep, senior
Stats: First in the SCC in the 200 medley relay, 2nd in Class LL and 4th at State Open, 3rd in 100 butterfly in SCC, 3rd in Class LL and 7th at State Open, 2nd in 100 breaststroke in SCC, 2nd in Class LL and 9th at State Open.
Noah Kern
Hamden Hall, junior
Stats: Placed first in the 200 individual medley, the 100 backstroke, the 200 medley relay and the 400 freestyle relay at the Connecticut Independent Schools Athletic Conference championship meet. Kern was second in the 100 freestyle and third in the backstroke at the Bud Erich championships and was second in the backstroke at the New England Prep School Swimming Association championships.
Garrett Mazziotti
Haddam-Killingworth, junior
Stats: Placed second in the 100 butterfly and third in the 200 freestyle in Class S and was 12th in the 200 freestyle and 22nd in the butterfly at the State Open. Set school record in the 200 freestyle (1:45.50).
Honors: Class S all-state selection.
David May
Notre Dame-West Haven, freshman
Stats: Class M champion in the 100 butterfly, second in the SCC and sixth at the State Open. May was second in the 100 backstroke in the Class M championship meet.
Honors: An All-SCC and Class M all-state selection.
Kyle Neri
Lyman Hall, senior
Stats: Won the 100 freestyle in Class M and was sixth at the State Open, Won the 50 freestyle in Class M and took fifth in the event at the State Open.
Honors: Class M all-state selection, USA Swimming Scholastic All-American.
Out of the pool: National Honor Society member.

A.J. Pite
Amity, senior
Stats: Was sixth in the 200 individual medley and 10th in the 100 butterfly at the State Open. Was seventh in the individual medley and eighth in the butterfly in Class LL. Won the 100 breaststroke and was second in the IM in the SCC.
Honors: All-SCC selection.
Up next: Will attend Connecticut College.
Connor Robison
Sheehan, sophomore
Stats: Won the 500 freestyle in Class M and was second at the State Open. Finished third in the 200 freestyle in the Class M and SCC meets.
Honors: All-SCC and Class M all-state selection.
Carl Thurston
Sheehan, senior
Stats: Won the 50 freestyle in Class M, was second in the SCC meet and sixth at the State Open. Thurston finished third in the SCC and fourth in Class M in the 100 freestyle.
Honors: An All-SCC and Class M all-state selection.
Out of the pool: Also runs cross country and plays tennis.
Nick Wargo

Stats: Won the 200 freestyle at the State Open and in Class LL and placed second at the SCC meet. Was second in the 100 freestyle in the SCC and fourth at the State Open and in Class LL. Set state record (1:23.18) as member of winning 200 freestyle relay team at the State Open, which also placed first in the SCC and second in Class LL, Member of the winning 400 freestyle relay team in the SCC meet which placed second in Class LL and at the State Open.
Honors: All-SCC and Class LL coaches all-state selection.
