The NEPSAC released its 2018 football bowl championship schedule Sunday morning. All games are Saturday, Nov. 17 at 1 p.m. The games were selected by a bowl championship committee.
Central New England champion Choate (9-0), winners of four-consecutive New England titles and 47-straight games under coach L.J. Spinnato, will face Cornelius Johnson and Erickson League co-champion Brunswick of Greenwich (7-1) in the Mike Silipo Bowl in Wallingford. Game time is 12:30 p.m.
WEEK 11 HS FOOTBALL SCOREBOARD / SCHEDULE
Clemson commit Taisun Phommachanh and Erickson co-champion Avon Old Farms (7-1) will travel to face ISL7 co-champion Buckingham Brown & Nichols in the Kevin Driscoll Bowl in Cambridge, Mass.
Erickson League co-champion Taft School (7-1), led by Danbury’s Diante Vines and Yale commit Nolan Grooms, travels to face St. Sebastian’s in Needham, Mass. in the Todd Marble Bowl.
Other Connecticut games include Suffield Academy (7-1), the Central New England runners-up vs. Independent Schol League-7 co-champion Belmont Hill-Mass. (7-1). Noble & Greenough-Mass., the ISL9 champion, travels to face Kingswood-Oxford (6-1-1) in West Hartford.
