Monday's New Haven County boys/girls hockey roundup: Goodwin hat trick leads No. 10 East Haven to victory

No. 10 East Haven 9, Stamford 1 >> Tristan Goodwin scored three goals and added an assist as the Easties coasted to a victory at East Haven.
Mike Falanga had a goal and five assists and Tyler Johnson added two goals and an assist for East Haven (3-0).

Amity 2, East Catholic 0 >> Dalton Luciani and Brett McNeil scored to lead the Spartans to their non-league win at Bennett Rink in West Haven.
Goalie Brian Mosher had 19 saves for the Spartans (2-1). East Catholic goalie Tom Usseglio had 33 saves.

Milford 2, Wilton 2 (OT) >> Will Vitelli and Andrew Gobany each scored as the Indians tied Wilton.
Zach White, Tommy Sampson and Brandon Argyros all had assists for Milford (0-2-1).
No. 2 Notre Dame-West Haven 5, Simsbury 1 >> Matt Dumas had a goal and three assists for Notre Dame in a non-conference win at Simsbury.
Kyle Lynch added a goal and two assists for the Green Knights (2-1).
