Old Saybrook 51, Coginchaug 43 >> The Rams snapped the Blue Devils five-game winning streak with a SLC win Monday night at Durham. Senior guard Elizabeth Marshall drained four 3-pointers en route to a game-high 22 points and senior Mia Neas added 18 points for Old Saybrook (10-8). Senior forward Morgan Kuehnle posted a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds, while senior Kim Romanoff had 10 points for Coginchaug (13-4).
Old Lyme 58, Hale-Ray 52 >> The Noises scored 19 points in the fourth quarter but their Senior Night rally fell short Monday at Moodus. Emily Traceski had 16 points, Jess Nickerson added 13 points, Faith Cooley collected 12 points, five assists and four steals, and Jess Dombroski had seven rebounds for Hale-Ray (6-12). Hannah Behringer had 24 points and Sloane Sweitzer added 14 point for Old Lyme (9-7).
Hale-Ray 43, Valley Regional 33 >> The Noises kept their state tournament hopes alive with a SLC victory Saturday afternoon at Deep River. Emily Traceski scored a game-high 18 points and Faith Cooley added 11 points for Hale-Ray (6-11). Kiernan Decker scored 12 points, wile Libby Spitzchuh and Francesca Daniels each had six points for the Warriors (3-12).
Hyde 54, Portland 44 >> Eric Texiera and Ricardo Steele each had 12 points to lead the Howling Wolves (7-8) Monday night at Portland. Jose Rivera had 12 points, Hayden Manning had 11 points and Connor Giveans chipped in nine points for the Highlanders (3-12).
