Hunter Fabretti chipped in with 4 aces, 4 kills and 13 assists as Mills improved to 3-1. Megan Beldessari had 3 kills, Marge Riccardelli had 2 kills and 3 blocks and Brooke Olownis added 5 assists for Housy.
Litchfield 3, Shepaug 2 (OT) >> Shepaug got goals from Connor Douskey and Owen Tredenik in the loss. Clayton Schneider made 20 saves for Shepaug while Nick Andro had 25 saves for the winners.
Thomaston 2, Gilbert 0 >> Justin Taylor and Andrew Goodrich scored for Thomaston which improved to 1-3 on the season. Anthony Foschini notched the shutout in goal.
Canterbury 3, Kingswood-Oxford 2 >> Mohammed Zakyi, scored once and Seidu Shamsudeen added two goals including the game-winner. Andrew Bortey stopped five shots in net for the win.
Housatonic Regional 3, Terryville 0 >> Chloe Dakers scored twice and Lauren Segalla scored once and had two assists for the undefeated Mountaineers. Amanda Jacquier also had an assist and Molly Dowd had four saves for Housy. Terryville got 17 saves from Maria Cesare.
Northwestern 4 Wamogo 0 >> Emma Propfe scored twice and Hannah Reola and Addie Hester had single tallies in the shutout. Gina Weingart made seven saves in net for the winners while Kya Young had 14 for Wamogo.
Christian Heritage sweeps >> Mitchell Modarelli led the race from start to finish and was followed in by teammates Matt Bruening (2nd) and Connor Hartman (3rd) as the Kingsmen knocked off Hamden Hall in the boys’ race. In the girls event, Claire Parrish was the winner followed closely by from teammates Abby Slater (2nd) and Lydia Kellogg (3rd).
