Behind a strong fourth quarter, Wolcott Tech girls basketball defeated Platt Tech 35-32. The Wildcats outscored the Panthers 17-13 in the fourth quarter. Wolcott Tech’s Mikey Albreada and Casey Farrington led the Wildcats with seven points each. Platt Tech’s Karolina Lesnzcyki led all scorers with 10 points. Danielle Maxwell scored eight points in the loss. Wolcott Tech is 2-3, Platt Tech is 1-3.

Nonnewaug 61, Wamogo 24 >> Nonnewaug pulled out to an early lead against Wamogo and did not look back. The Chiefs’ Christian Metallo led all scorers with 13 points. Seth Losure and Andrew Roden each recorded eight points in the victory. Wamogo’s Greg Peck led the Warriors with six points. Devin Ruot and Jacob Fenn each added five points. Nonnewaug is 1-2, Wamogo is 0-3.
Mt. Everett 70, Housatonic 60 >> Housatonic fell short to Mt. Everett despite a big game from Jesse Mohring. Mohring led all scorers with 29 points. Nick Camardi recorded 12 points. Mt. Everett’s Malik Wilson led his team with 27 points. Kenny Krom added 21 points in the victory.
Lewis Mills 63, Canton 58 >> Lewis Mills edged Canton at home. The Spartans’ Danny Kryzanski led all scorers with 28 points. Alexander Daigle and Spencer Maloney added eight points each in the victory. Canton’s Cam Daley and Rieley Hoffman each finished with a team high 13 points. Lewis Mills is 3-0, Canton is 1-1.

Housatonic/Northwestern/Wamogo 4, Norwalk/McMahon 2 >> Housatonic/Northwestern/Wamogo cruised past Norwalk/McMahon, helped by big plays from Wes Reel. Reel finished the game with two goals and one assist. Andy Shepherd and James Huften also recorded a goal in the victory. Eric Chin made 15 saves in goal. Norwalk/McMahon’s Ryan Suchsland scored both goals for his team. Quinn Sandor recorded two assists in the loss.
