Evahna McDaniel had eight points and Tamyia King added seven points for Middletown (6-3, 5-0 CCC South). Chandler Walker had a game-high 16 points for Bristol Central (8-2, 3-2 CCC South).
Mercy 64, Wilbur Cross 19 >> The second-ranked Tigers built a 37-9 halftime advantage and cruised to an SCC win Monday night at New Haven. Junior guard Kendra Landy led four Tiger players in double figures with 14 points. Sarah Gallo and Hannah Coleman each had 12 points, while Maura Fitzpatrick had 10 points for Mercy (10-0). Wilbur Cross fell to 3-6.
Bristol Central 64, Middletown 57 >> Jacob Collins led all scorers with 24 points as the Rams topped the visiting Blue Dragons Monday night. Manny Severino added 18 points and Joe DeFilippi had 13 points for Bristol Central (7-1). Antonio White had 17 points and Brandon Simmons had 16 points and seven rebounds for Middletown (3-5).
Middletown 61, Plainville 50 >> Makai Hunter had 14 points and Antonio White had 10 points to lead the visiting Blue Dragons last Saturday night. O’Brien Watson had 14 rebounds, while Naim Edens grabbed 11 rebounds for Middletown (3-4).
