LITCHFIELD >> Wamogo’s boys basketball team capped a doubleheader at Wamogo High School with a 44-42 win over Litchfield Friday night.
The Warriors led by six after three quarters. Litchfield rorared back with a 17-13 quarter, not quite enough.
Garrett Coe had 13 for Wamogo (4-3); Max Loomis, 12.
Ryan O’Neill scored 15; Barndon Hookstadt, 11, for the Cowboys (2-5).
Terryville 58, Thomaston 48 (OT) >> With a chance for its first win over Terryville in 12 years, the Golden Bears fell just short in overtime at Terryville.
Justin Taylor and Noah Daigle had 18 apiece for Thomston (1-6). Evan Dorso (18) and Ian Schmidt (17) led the Kangaroos (2-4)
Bullard Havens Tech 60, Wolcott Tech 23 >> Jacob Morales led Bullard Havens (4-3) at Wolcott Tech (0-8) with 13 points. Carter Wheeler had 8 for the Wildcats.
Lewis Mills, 57, Housatonic 41 >> The Spartans climbed out of a 9-4 first-quarter hole, led by Trevor Baker (15 points), Anthony Lacata (10 points) and Jackson Lord (10 points, 10 rebounds).
Max Vadakin had 16 for Housy; Pat Considine, 15.
Each team is 4-3.
Wamogo 51, Litchfield 41 >> The Warriors (6-4) came back from a first-quarter deficit to hold off the Cowgirls (2-7) in a game they led by just one point at the end of three quarters. Brooke Neller scored 21 points; Rose Kelly added 10.
Mary Spierto led the Cowgirls with 12.
Bullard Havens 52, Wolcott Tech 18 >> Bullard Havens’ Destiny Santiago had 20 points; Jermia Dumos added 13 at home.
Tanesha Peterson led the Wildcats with 7.
Northwestern 40, Gilbert 28 >> The Highlanders (5-5) stepped away from a close game in the final quarter at Gilbert, led by Gina Weingart’s 11 points. Jillian Wexler and Ali Brochu each had 9 for the Yellowjackets (3-5).
Lewis Mills 39, Houisatonic 26 >> Samira Abdelrehim (15 points) and Corinne Morow (11 points) led the Spartans at home.
Amanda Jacquier was high scorer for Housy with 10.
Thomaston 69, Terryville 23 >> Thomaston (9-1) hammered Terryville (2-7) behind 13 points from Charlotte Eberhardt, 12 from Morgan Sanson and 10 from Casey Carangelo.
Makayla Descault had 7 for Terryville.

Holy Cross 93.5, Torrington 83.5 >> Holy Cross sewed up a meet at Kennedy High School with wins in the first nine events before going exhibition. Sean Harnish (twice), Chris Fryer (twice), Matt Corona (twice) and Marcus Scarpa all won individual events for the Crusaders.
Goodwin Tech 53, Wolcott Tech 28 >> Goodwin Tech’s Nashaley Viera and Paola Berbosa shared scoring honors at Wolcott Tech Thursday night with 15 points apiece for the Gladiators.
Tanesha Petersen was high scorer for the Wildcats with 8.
Goodwin Tech is 7-2; Wolcott Tech is 2-6.
