Torrington 95, Kennedy 84 >> Torrington won defeated Kennedy and are now 6-0. The line up was a little different its normal line up. Sara Heath, a new swimmer who is a senior swam well in the meet. Other then Heath, Jessica Gray and Hailey Ross both had excellent meets. Gray swam in the meet who an fractured finger, finishing second place in the 200-free. Ross was apart of the 200-medley relay that came in first place. The Red Raiders are now 6-0 and will travel to Watertown for a meet on Friday at 4 p.m.
Torrington 2, New Fairfield 2 >> The Torrington Red Raiders played to a 2-2 tie against New Fairfield. Olivia Morrison and Olivia Roberge each scored for the Red Raiders. Courtney Dell’Agnese and Paige Middleton each had an assist. Torrington is now 6-2-1.
Wolcott Tech 3, O’Brien Tech 0 >> The Wildcats stay unbeaten, after beating O’Brien Tech, 3-0 and clinch a spot in the State Tournament. Wolcott Tech cruised past O’Brien Tech easily, winning by the scores of, 25-18, 25-6 and 25-14. Leading the way for the Wildcats was Casey Farrington who had nine aces to go along with 22 assists and 12 digs. Wolcott Tech is 8-0 and O’Brien Tech is 5-4.
Kennedy 3, Gilbert 0 >> The Yellowjackets are still looking for its first win of the season after falling to Kennedy. Nikki Nash had nine kills and 16 digs in the loss and Ali Brochu had seven kills, two digs and nine assists. Kennedy is now 6-5 and Gilbert is 0-10.
