TORRINGTON >> Torrington’s girls cross country team swept a tri-meet Tuesday afternoon at Torrington High School, 27-28 against Holy Cross, 15-44 against Seymour; and 15-50 over Wilby.
Arianna Santos (19:38) and Gabrielle Vega finished one-two for the Raiders over the 3-mile course. Anna Clinkscales, Mazda Delgado and Logan Montefeltri rounded out the Raider scoring in fifth, ninth and 10th places.
The Raiders are 7-3; Holy Cross 9-2; Seymour 2-9; Wilby, 0-10.

Terryville 35 >> Northwestern’s Christina Gubetta (20:17) finished first over Litchfield’s 3.1-mile course. Shepaug had five girls in the top 10 behind her to dominate the meet. Aileen Rosa, Lauren Bresson, Alison Parker, Tia Phon and Autumn Collette were second, fourth, sixth, seventh and ninth for the Spartans.
Hannah Curran and Claudia DeMatteis were third and eighth for Litchfield.
Molly Lukiwsky and Jordan Sheridan were fifth and thenth for the Highlanders.

Wilby’s Brian Oliveira was first in 16:57. Holy Cross is 8-3; Seymour, 4-6; Torrington, 2-9; Wilby 0-10.
Northwestern 19, Terryville 42; Northwestern 15, Litchfield 49; Northwestern 28, Shepaug 32; Shepaug 15, Litchfield 46; Shepaug 20, Terryville 41; Litchfield 28, Terryville 29 >> Shepaug’s Sean Parker (15:53 set a new course record in first place at Litchfield High School’s 3.1-mile course, but the Highlanders dominated the rest of the top 10 finishes. Gavin Woodward and Connor Spencer were second and third; Sean Labbe, Sam Schiffer and Chris Manini were fifth, ninth and tenth. Sean Welsh was fourth for Shepaug. Terryville’s Chris DeForest and Corey Picard finished sixth and eighth.

Torrington 3, Wilby 0 (25-8, 25-2, 25-8) >> The Red Raiders (10-1) made short work of the Wildcats (0-9) at Wilby High School behind 18 assists, 4 aces from Jayleen Colon; 8 kills, 5 aces from Jolie Fox; and a kill and 6 aces by Courtney Cappabianca.
Lewis Mills 3, Gilbert 0 (25-10, 25-21, 25-18) >> Haley DeJoseph (2 aces, 5 kills, 5 digs); Emily Hamel (7 aces, 5 kills, 8 digs) and Courtney Hock (1 ace, 4 kills, 3 digs) led the Spartans (6-4) at Gilbert.
Deanna Delacruz (4 kills, 2 assists, 1 ace); Alexis Johnson-Blue (2 kills, 1 assist, 1 ace); and Elizabeth Wexler (2 kills, 5 assists, 2 aces) stood out for the Yellowjackets (5-5).
Shepaug 1, Northwestern 0 (OT) >> Shepaug’s Darwin Guamley stunned the Highlanders with a goal on a pass from Nick Fleming with just two minutes left in overtime at Northwestern High School.
Spartan goalkeeper Alan Stinson had 19 saves to force the overtime.
Shepaug is 2-5-1; Northwestern is 5-3.
Lewis Mills 7, Gilbert 2 >> Joe Fortuna had three goals. Nick Lutrzykowski, Jake Cosentino, Lorenz Gunzl and Matt Gauthier had the others for Mills at Nassahegan Field. Alex Lundgren had a goal for the Yellowjackets; the other was an own-goal from Mills.
The Spartans are 8-0; Gilbert is 0-8.
Terryville 3, Litchfield 0 >> The Kangaroos broke open a 0-0 halftime game with second-half goals by Kyle Hotchkiss, Donnie McCann and Garick Webster at Terryville High School.
Terryville is 4-3-1; Litchfield is 1-7.
Nonnewaug 7, Thomaston 0 >> Andrew Ray and Jake Willis had two goals apiece at Nonnewaug High School. Josh Cheatham, Connor Coleman and Jacob Firlings added the others.
Cheatham had three assists, joined by Matt O’Hara and Jack Salerno with one apiece.
Thomaston’s Anthony Foschini had 11 saves.
The Chiefs are 8-0; Thomaston is 3-5.
Northwestern 6, Shepaug 1 >> Hannah Reola scored for the Highlanders just 25 seconds into a game at Shepaug High School.
Spartan Sophia Maninone tied it five minutes later, but then Northwestern ran away with it with goals by Miranda Tranqillo, Addie Hester, Emma Propfe and another by Reola.
The Spartans are 0-6-2; Northwestern is 4-4.
Nonnewaug 6, Thomaston 0 >> Mary Bibbey and Christina Sordi scored twice at Thomaston High School. Allison Green and Emily Wingard added a goal apiece.
Thomaston goalkeeper Camryn Capaldo had 13 saves.
Nonnewaug is 8-0; Thomaston is 1-6-1.
Wolcott Tech 2, Wilcox Tech 2 >> Amanda Yarrison scored both Wildcat goals, assisted by Trisha Campinelli and Sierra McIlwain at Wolcott Tech.
Soleil Bennett and Katherine Kearney scored for Wilcox Tech.
Wolcott Tech goalie Sarah Rousis had 8 saves.
Housatonic 5, Wamogo 0 >> Amanada Jacquier scored twice and Chloe Dakers, Lauren Segalla and Genevieve Bushey added a goal apiece at Wamogo.
Mia Lebiti had 13 saves for the Warriors.
Thomaston 5, Litchfield 0 >> Same Laone had two goals for the Golden Bears (3-2-2-1) at Thomaston High School. Liz Passeck, Alexa Sanson and Kaylyn Barberet added Thomaston’s other goals with assists by Alexa Kowalksi and Alexa Milius.
Sophi Graveline had 10 saves for the Cowgirls (2-5-1).
Oxford 93, Torrington 79 >> Torrington’s Tori Masucci won the 100-yard breaststroke, but the Wolverines took first in all the other events at Oxford High School. Oxford winners were Natalie Hinton (2), Ellie Gamouf, Emily LaRogoue, Casey Marshall, Emily Darrah and Alexis Freel.
The Raiders host Kennedy at the Torrington Y Friday at 7:30 p.m.
