Samantha Chadwick and Corinne Morrow led the Spartans with 11 and 8 points as Mills held Gilbert to just two points in the third quarter.
Ali Brochu led the Yellowjackets with 10 points.
Platt Tech 43, Wolcott Tech 38 >> The Wildcats gave up a five-point halftime lead at Platt Tech with just two points in the third quarter.
Jenitza Irizarry scored 19 for Platt Tech.
Victoria Smith-Silva had 8 for the Wildcats.
Terryville 48, Wamogo 36 >> Terryville put up its first win of the season at home, led by 19 points from Zoe Jabs and 16 from McKenzie Huria.

Northwestern 59, Shepaug 16 >> Gina Weingart (11 points) led the Highlanders at home along with 10 points apiece from Marissa Swartley and Emma Propfe.
Northwestern 81, Shepaug 39 >> The Highlanders powered past the Spartans at Shepaug High School behind 24 points from Zack Plitt, 18 from Jayson Reola and 12 from Zack Penn.
Kyle Lamay led Shepaug with 11.
Wamogo 52, Terryville 42 >> The Warriors had a huge second half, overcoming an 8-point deficit in the first two periods.
Garrett Satazahn led the surge with 25 points; Reid Rutoro had 15.

Nonnewaug 63, Litchfield 41 >> Nate Firlings (17 points); Ryan Cleary (15 points/five threes); and Jacob Matta led the Chiefs at Litchfield.
