Outlook

Replacing Kameron Janice, who rushed for 2,270 yards in 216 carries including a record-shattering 529-yard, eight-touchdown effort against Quinebaug Valley, won’t be an easy task.

But the trio of Ian Welz, Jaden Dennett, and Gavin Savoie will share the work load behind a solid offensive line anchored by senior tackle Blake Kollbeck.

Senior Derek Thompson will lead the offense while junior Nick Bedard will also get snaps at QB. The Centaurs return their top receiver from last season in senior Caleb Feen.

Junior Luis Miranda will be a force on both sides of the ball at WR and SS. Junior linebacker and captain Travis White will anchor the defense.

Woodstock, once again, will be playing an independent schedule. The program briefly flirted with leaving the CIAC last spring and had gone as far as being accepted into an NEPSAC league, but the school’s board of directors ultimately voted to stay.
