HIGH SCHOOL ROUNDUP: Doiron hurls perfect game to lead Cadets

TRUMBULL — Payton Doiron pitched a perfect game to lead St. Joseph in a 14-0, five-inning win over McMahon Wednesday afternoon in a FCIAC matchup.

Doiron struck out 12 of the 15 batteries she faced in the win for the Cadets, who improved to 17-0. Maddie Fitzgerald had four hits and three RBIs and Paige Hunter hit a home run to lead St. Joseph’s offense.

The Senators’ record fell to 3-12.
