Hand junior Scott Testori was named the Connecticut Soccer Coaches Association Boys Soccer Player of the Year at the organization’s annual banquet on Sunday.
Testori helped lead Hand to its fourth consecutive Class L state championship in November. He scored 24 goals, a school record, and added 16 assists. His 58 career goals is also a school record. That includes four goals in three state finals’ appearances.
Testori was named the Register’s Area MVP and to the GameTimeCT all-state team for the second straight season. He was also the Southern Connecticut Conference’s Player of the Year and was named both All-American and All-New England this past season.
