STAMFORD— Greenwich High School senior Maddie Muldoon captured the 2018 FCIAC Girls Diving title Monday night at the Westhill High School pool.
Muldoon, who is coming off a successful regular season for the Cardinals, amassed a total of 454 points. Junior Regina Frias of Greenwich was the runner-up with 443 points, followed by Cardinals senior Annabelle Pollack (441).
Darien’s Julia Servas (431), Westhill-Stamford’s Abigail Desyr (417), Greenwich’s Casey Kirsch (400), Darien’s Lana Schmidt (383) and Trumbull’s Katelyn Cerulli (376) took the next five spots in the 11-dive competition.
Olivia Quinn of New Canaan (375) and Marra Woodring (Wilton, 357), rounded out the top-10 finishers. With their 1-2-3-6 finish in the diving finals, the Cardinals positioned themselves nicely point-wise for their quest to win another FCIAC team swimming championship. The trials for the FCIAC Swimming Championships takes place today at 4:30 p.m. at Greenwich.
The FCIAC swimming finals is set for Thursday at Greenwich High School at 6:30 p.m.
