The Seymour High School Girls Swimming team will host its third annual Swim for Hop” swim meet on Friday at 5 p.m. against St. Joseph at the Seymour High School Pool. 2 Botsford Road, Seymour.
“All proceeds from this meet will go to the Seymour Pink Foundation which is an organization that helps Seymour residents who are affected by cancer,” Seymour girls swim coach Missy Orosz said.
“There will be concessions available as well as raffles, which include various baskets of goodies donated from members of the team and local businesses.” Orosz said additional donations are welcomed.

Also, the Lauralton Hall girls swim team is having a breast cancer awareness night during its meet against Stratford at 7 p.m. on Thursday at Foran. The Lauralton swimmers are donning pink shirts and swim caps that night. There will also be a bake sale with the profits going to breast cancer fund.
