Amity is still the unanimous No. 1 team in this week’s GameTimeCT/Register Top 10 Baseball Poll. The Spartans dismantled Notre Dame-West Haven to win their second straight SCC title and are the No. 1 seed in the Class LL state tournament.
FCIAC champion Darien moves up to No. 2 after winning its first conference title since 1981.
Waterford falls to No. 3 after losing the ECC final to Norwich Free Academy, but is No. 1 in Class M. Bristol Eastern moves up to No. 4 as those Lancers will be the top seed in the Class L tournament.
Hamden (Class LL) is down to No. 5 and East Catholic (Class M) is up to No. 6. Both teams will be the No. 2 seed in each of their respective state tournaments.
Berlin dropped a spot to No. 7, but New Britain gained two. East Lyme moved up one despite falling to ECC champ NFA and NVL champion Oxford enters the poll for the first time at No. 10.
