Welcome to the sixth episode of the GameTimeCT football podcast
Last Friday there was some controversy surrounding New Britain not shaking hands with Southington before their mega-matchupon Friday night.
Southington rallied from a two-score deficit to win a thriller, 27-24.
Listen as Pete, who witnessed it live, goes on an opening tirade on the subject (he was not a fan… of the reaction to it) as Sean and Kyle attempt to get their takes in before Pete blew his top.

Also, the guys take a look at the latest GameTimeCT media poll. Darien remains as the No. 1 team in the state after a 24-0 victory over Staples, but No. 2 Greenwich inched closer thanks to an impressive 42-14 victory over then-No. 7 New Canaan.
But there was so much more, including a look at this week’s ‘Al-Apallozza’ — the Connectcicut HS Football Scheduling Alliance crossover games between the SCC, SWC and ECC.
