How You Prepare For A Game: “I usually prepare for matches by listening to relaxing music and eating a little candy treat before playing.”
Most Memorable Moment In Your High School Career: “This year, during one of the singles matches I played against a girl from Hamden. We play two out of three games to 21 to decide who wins the match. I lost the first match 19 to 21 points, but was able to come back in a close second game to force a third. The third game was extremely close and we ended up having to play extra points since you have to win by two. I won the game 22-20 to complete the most intense comeback of my career.”
What Are You Most Excited About This Season: “There were a lot of seniors who graduated, so the team was mostly new kids this year. I was excited to get to know everyone and make new friends, while watching and helping the beginners develop their skills.”
Favorite Pro Or College Athlete: “Adam Scott. I actually am pretty interested in golf and usually watch the tournaments every weekend with my dad.”
College Plans: “I don’t know what school I want to go to yet. I’ve narrowed it down to about seven schools that I’m applying to but I haven’t chosen yet. I know that I want to study biology and medicine wherever I end up.”
