Nate, a senior, has been an honor roll student and is a two-year starter on the boys basketball team, averaging around 13 points a game and shooting 40 percent from three-point range this season. His coach, Greg Stillman, regularly gives Nate the assignment of guarding some of the best players on opposing teams.
Sports Played And Positions: Basketball (shooting guard).
Athletic Accomplishments: Nate was a member of the 2013 Central Connecticut Conference West championship team.
How You Prepare Before A Game: “I listen to music, stretch, shoot around, and drink a lot of water.
Most Memorable Moment In Your High School Career: “Beating New Britain last year at home and watching our fans storm the court.”
Who Have Been The Most Influential People In Your Life And Why: “Friends, family, and coaches, they all have been most influential in shaping my life on and off the court.”
What Are You Most Excited About This Season: The CCC and state tournament, especially after last year’s disappointing first round loss. I’m really looking forward to trying to win at least a couple games in the state tournament.”
Favorite Pro Or College Athlete: Shabazz Napier (University of Connecticut guard).
College Plans: “I’m looking to attend Eastern Connecticut State University or Keene State College next fall.”
