Caroline is an AP student and has been a member of the Simsbury High School honor roll for four years. She plays soccer, lacrosse and basketball for the Lady Trojans.
Sports Played And Positions: Soccer (midfield and forward); basketball (guard); lacrosse (midfield).
Athletic Accomplishments: Connecticut Super Juniors for lacrosse; All-Academic honors in soccer, basketball, and lacrosse. “One of the most influential people in my life who encouraged me to work hard in sports was “Mrs. Lil,” Mrs. Mary Liledah, my elementary gym teacher. As far as an external influence, it’s Yvon Chouinard (founder of Patagonia) from the movie 180 Degrees South. He influenced and formed my outlook on life.”
How You Prepare Before A Game: “I prepare for each game by filling up on pasta and a smoothie, and then I listen to pump-up music with my teammates.”
Most Memorable Moment In Your High School Career: “The most memorable moment in my soccer career was a team one, beating Darien in first round playoffs of this year’s Class LL state tournament.”
What Were You Most Excited About This Season: “This fall, I was most excited about having fun with my teammates and working hard to have a successful soccer season.”
Favorite Pro Or College Athlete: “My favorite college athlete is Meg Cunningham, a former University of Connecticut soccer player and the Simsbury girls varsity soccer team’s assistant coach.”
College Plans: “I’m undecided right now, but I do plan on playing lacrosse in college.”
