The Academics (2-3) led just 27-21 at the half after the Trojans’ Tucker McClure returned an interception 47 yards for a score with just 8 seconds left in the second quarter.
Hillhouse ran for 415 yards in the contest while holding the Trojans (0-5) to just 29 yards on the ground.
Lyman Hall head coach Rob Marone was fired earlier this week for violating a CIAC rule for an illegal offseason practice. Aidan Lynch has coached the last two games for the Trojans.
