Chris Jean-Pierre had 12 points and Hunter Linfesty added 10 points for Valley Regional (6-2). The T-birds (2-7) were led by Mark DiLauro (13 points) and Kevin Tressel (11 points).
Westbrook 65, Hale-Ray 55 >> Senior guard Sam Grigo poured in a game-high 23 points as the Knights remained unbeaten with a SLC win Thursday night at Moodus. Faruk Cecunjanin added 19 points for Westbrook (10-0). Jason Traceski had a double-double with 22 points and and 11 rebounds, while Craig Botteon added 14 points and seven rebounds for the Noises (1-7).
Valley Regional 66, Morgan 56 >> Jake Luster had 22 points and eight rebounds to help the Warriors rally past the Huskies Friday night at Clinton. David Bradbury had 13 points and five assists, while Chris Jean-Pierre added 12 points and seven rebounds for Valley (7-2). Mike Murray had 17 points and Dylan Ketch had 13 points for Morgan (2-5), which led 27-24 at halftime.

Valley Regional 53, North Branford 36 >> The Warriors outscored the T-birds 14-3 in the fourth quarter to capture their second win of the season Friday night at Deep River. Senior center Kiernan Decker powered Valley with 19 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and four blocks. Junior forward Mary Gardner had 18 points as the Warriors improved to 2-7. Sophomore guard Sabrina LeMere had 15 points for North Branford (4-6).
