Mercy 67, Sheehan 13 >> The Tigers remained unbeaten with an SCC win Friday night at Middletown. Mercy (4-0) built a 41-7 halftime lead and cruised the rest of the way. Maura Fitzpatrick had 18 points, Hannah Coleman had nine points, while Sarah Gallo and Taylor Fascione had eight points apiece for the Tigers. Livi Collette had five points for the Titans (3-1).
East Hampton 52, Hyde 41 >> The Bellringers outscored the Howling Wolves, 23-11, in the fourth quarter en route to a SLC win Thursday night at the Truman School in New Haven. East Hampton sophomore Meghan Orbann led all-scorers with a career-high 24 points. Whitney Rubega also had a career-high with 13 points, while Sarah Massie had eight points for the Bellringers (2-1). Adasia Beard had 21 points and Trayneice Mims had 13 points for Hyde (2-1). East Hampton plays next at home against University High School in the Thomas J. McCabe Memorial Holiday Tournament on Friday, Dec. 27 at 6 p.m.
Cromwell 43, Haddam-Killingworth 40 >> Janelle Harrison and Emily Appleby had 12 points apiece to lead the Panthers (2-1) Thursday night at Higanum. Lauren McCann had 11 points for the Cougars (2-1).
Manchester 60, Middletown 55 >> Blue Dragons senior guard Rejeen Mayo had 19 points, while Brielle Wilborn and Shariffah Mason had 10 points apiece in Middletown’s road loss Thursday night. Mikaela Coady and Tamyia King each had eight points for the Blue Dragons (1-2).
