BRIDGEPORT — Tyrese Wright passed for two touchdowns and rushed for another score and Eddy Holmes and Keith Gathers each scored twice to lead Bullard-Havens over Prince Tech, 42-8, in a CTC football game Saturday morning.
With the win, the Tigers improved to 9-1, won the CTC title and clinched, not only a spot in the Class S playoffs, but a first-round home qualifying game.
Prince Tech fell to 7-2 and saw its Class S playoff prospects dim. They’d need to beat Capital Prep/Achievement First next week to have any kind of shot to qualify.
