After numerous (and always inevitable, it seems) delays, the new surface at DeBarber Field is open for business in Seymour.
The Wildcats’ football team will face Wilby tonight at 7 p.m.
Debarber Field also added brand new field bleachers, which was the primary reason for the delay. Seymour is very excited.

Seymour’s new field now leaves Derby, Ansonia, Crosby, Woodland and St. Paul as the remaining NVL teams playing on grass.
Here’s another look from the stands.
