SHELTON >> Tyrese Wright ran for three touchdowns and threw for two two more as Bullard-Havens exploded for 38 points in the first half and cruised to a 58-12 CSC victory over O’Brien Tech Thursday night at Shelton’s Finn Stadium.
Bullard-Havens (2-0) amassed 460 yards, 402 of which came on the ground. Wright finished with 147 yards on 11 carries. Keith Gathers ran for 172 yards on 8 carries and scored three, second-half touchdowns.
Ryshon Penix returned an interception 35 yards for a touchdown. Malik Lominy caught two passes, both for touchdowns.
O’Brien Tech’s Michael Macary threw for 108 yards and two touchdowns. He was intercepted twice. Sam Barnum caught 5 passes for 30 yards. The Condors fell to 0-2.
