Jacqui Sandor, Hand: Sandor scored the game-winning goal in the first half in a 1-0 win over northern power Glastonbury as the Tigers improved to 3-0 with the victory.
Megan Kaeyer, Wilton: The goalie had 16 saves in a hard-fought 6-5 win over FCIAC rival Norwalk.
Catherine Bopp, New Canaan: The Rams rebounded from a season-opening loss to Cheshire when Bopp scored a game-winning goal to lead New Canaan to a 1-0 win over FCIAC rival Greenwich.
Ava Galdenzi, North Branford: Galdenzi scored three goals to lead the Thunderbirds to a 5-1 win over Shoreline Conference rival Old Saybrook.
Brianna Shaw, Branford: Shaw had two goals to lead the Hornets to a 4-1 win over SCC rival Shelton.
Sarah Bogdan, Darien: Bogdan had a pair of goals to lead Darien to a 4-0 win over FCIAC rival McMahon.
Daria Torrenti, Amity: Torrenti scored twice to lead the Spartans to a 3-0 SCC win over Lauralton Hall.
Ella Stanley, Guilford: Stanley had two goals and an assist to lead the Indians to a 7-0 win over SCC rival Lyman Hall.

Sacred Heart Academy at Hamden (turf field), 5:30 p.m.: Cross-town rivals face off in a key Southern Connecticut Conference matchup.
Westbrook at Morgan (Indian River Complex), 6:30 p.m.: A pair of unbeaten teams sqaure off in a Shoreline Conference matchup. Through Sunday, Morgan was 1-0 and Westbrook 2-0.
Friday
Greenwich at Staples (Ginny Parker Field), 4:30 p.m.: A pair of talented FCIAC rivals face off in a rematch of a game in last season’s CIAC Class L semifinals. Staples defeated Greenwich in the semifinals and went on to defeat another FCIAC rival, Darien, 1-0 in the Class L final.
