Kyle Kirby, Staples: Kirby had three goals in a 9-0 win over FCIAC rival Fairfield Ludlowe.
Kyleen Crowe, Sacred Heart Academy: Crowe had 19 saves in a 2-1 loss to defending Class S champ North Branford.
Abby Amara, Valley Regional: She had the game-winning goal with three minutes left in the second half in a 3-2 win over Shoreline Conference rival Old Saybrook.
Claire Boncek, Hamden: She scored the game-winning goal in the second half in a 1-0 win over cross-town and SCC rival Sacred Heart Academy.
Amy Woods, Hand: Woods had two goals in a 6-1 SCC win over Hamden.
Tory Ryder, Valley Regional: She had the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win over East Lyme.
Ellise Parnoff, Hamden Hall: Parnoff had six saves in a 5-0 win over Wilbraham & Monson.
Kaylie Zemke, Mercy: She scored the game-winning goal with 55 seconds left in the first half in a 1-0 SCC win over Lyman Hall.
Lauren Burkhart, The Gunnery: She had the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win over Hamden Hall.

North Branford (4-0-0-1) at Westbrook (4-0), 3:45 p.m.: A key Shoreline Conference showdown between two fierce rivals as the defending CIAC Class S champion Thunderbirds visit the Knights.
Thursday
Hand (4-1-1) at Darien (4-2), 5:30 p.m.: The defending CIAC Class M champ Tigers take on last season’s Class L runner-up Blue Wave. Darien lost 1-0 to Staples in the Class L final last season.
Monday
Cheshire (5-0) at Hand (4-1-1), 7 p.m.: Two of the top teams in the SCC and in the state in their respective Classes (Cheshire Class L, Hand Class M) face off at Hand High’s turf field.
