Fairfield Prep guard Thomas Nolan’s college choice is a shorter distance than a layup, which is to say he’s not going anywhere.
The 6-foot-2 junior has committed to play college basketball at Fairfield University, which, of course, is part of the same campus as the Jesuit high school which bears its name.
The news was first reported by ESPN’s Adam Finkelstein via Fairfield Prep coach Leo Redgate.
Nolan averaged 14.3 points, six rebounds, four assists and four steals for the SCC tournament champion and Class LL state tournament runner-up.
He was the SCC tournament MVP. All-SCC Quinnipiac Division and Fairfield Christmas Tournament All-Tournament Team selection.
