Eight people will be inducted into the West Haven Hall of Fame on Nov. 30 at Westwoods Ballroom.
The eight inductees are: Robert Reilly (1944), who excelled in soccer and hockey, served for two years in the Navy in the South Pacific and earned engineering degrees from Alfred University and New Haven College; Vin Siena (1982), an All-District selection in both soccer and baseball who went on to star at Quinnipiac in baseball; Brian Nugent (1975), a member of the 1972 state championship football team who went on to play at New Haven; Don Fitzgerald (1955), who excelled in both soccer and baseball; Robert Raucci (1964), who played on the football, basketball and baseball teams; Lindsay Connor (2003), who played three sports (volleyball, basketball and softball) and went on to play softball at Bryant; Mark Heffernan (2002), a goaltender on the hockey team and the first Westie to be named a three-time All-State selection in the same sport; and Paula Uscilla (1995), who played soccer, basketball and softball and went on to play soccer and softball at New Haven.
