Eight people will be inducted into the North Haven High School Sports Hall of Fame on Nov. 5 at Zandri’s Stillwood Inn in Wallingford.
The eight inductees are: Bryan Darcy (2000), a three-sport standout (football, basketball and baseball) and went onto play baseball at both Hartford and New Haven; Tim Binkoski (2003), a standout in both baseball and football who went onto to star in baseball at Quinnipiac; Pamela Kinsella White (1974), a former track and field star for the Indians; Michelle Morrotti Bonora (1996), a standout in both volleyball and softball who is now the principal at the Augusta Lewis Troup School in New Haven; Kristen Palmisano Moore (1989), a three-sport standout (soccer, basketball, softball) who went on to play soccer at Stony Brook; Bret Perkins (1987), who starred in both soccer and basketball and also played soccer at Temple; Mary Lou Stamp (1973), a service award inductee who has served on several committees, including the chairman of the Parks and Recreation Commission; and Steve Celmer (1974), who has coached several spots at his alma mater, including boys outdoor track and field for 30 years.
