DeBalsi heads into the upcoming cross country season as the state’s best female runner. She won the FCIAC, Class LL, State Open and New England Championships. She finished second at the Foot Locker Championships last December in San Diego and was the CT Girls Gatorade XC Runner of the Year.
Here’s a more in depth feature on DeBalsi about her off the track and trails.
Also making the list is two other runners from Connecticut. Gabrielle Richichi of New Fairfield is ranked No. 80 and sophomore Danae Rivers of Wilbur Cross came in at No. 87. You can view the complete list here.
Dyestat released the boys list on Tuesday, which you can view here. Darien senior Alex Ostberg is ranked No. 3. Hall’s Ari Klau, who will be a senior this fall, came in at No. 88.
