Ken Little won the 1000, Ja’kwan Hale won the high jump and Tristan Pruzinsky won the shot put to lead the Derby boys indoor track team to the CIAC Class S championship meet team title with 62 points.
Little won the 1000 in a time of 2:34.56, Hale won the high jump with height of 6 feet, 7 inches and Pruzinsky won the shot put with a distance of 51-87.5.
Derby’s Brian Jalowiec contributed to the team title with a second place in the shot put (50-2.5).
Haddam-Killingworth’s Andrew Meredith won the 3200 in 9:44.27 and teammate Jonah Spector was second in 9:50.87 to lead the Cougars to a fifth place finish with 28 points.
Old Saybrook won the 4×800 relay in 8:18.85 as the Rams ended seventh in the team standings with 24 points.
In the Class S girls, Old Saybrook’s Tyra Finkeldey won the pole vault (11-1).
