Getting goals from eight different players, the Brunswick School hockey team rolled to a resounding 8-1 win over Portledge School Wednesday at Hartong Rink.
Brunswick entered the second period with a 2-1 lead. Henry Foster opened the scoring with his sixth goal of the year and Cooper Moore capped the first period with a power-play tally — his 12th goal of the season.
Goalie Alexander Rohlf (22 saves) made a number of point-blank saves for the Bruins in the first period, keeping it a one-goal game.
A pair of Bruins notched their first career goals in the second period. Erik Anderson tallied at the 5:24 mark of the second period, then Harry Tavlarios scored less than a minute later, giving the Bruins a comfortable 4-1 lead.
Four other Bruins tallied during the third period. Ryan St. Louis’ 13th goal of the season started the four-goal period. Matthew McGroarty notched a power play goal, while Henry Hill and AJ Cerbone each posted their second goal of the season.
Paul Davey and St. Louis each assisted on two goals for the Bruins, who raised their record to 10-7-4.
