Dion Perkins, Seymour: Set a new school scoring record by pouring in 48 points in Seymour’s 72-65 loss to Torrington. Previous record was 47 set by Vic Czweklinski in the 1960s, according to Seymour coach Joe Carrafiello.
Zach Laput, Notre Dame-West Haven: Had a career-high 34 points and 14 rebounds in a 69-60 win over Amity.
Justin Davis, Crosby: Poured in 38 points, along with six steals and four assists in the Bulldogs’ 93-67 win over Woodland. Scored 36 points in a 79-74 loss to Newtown.
Carlos Sarmiento, Gilbert: Grabbed 26 rebounds in Gilbert’s 66-61 win over Thomaston.
Jack Hall, Avon: Scored a career-high 37 points in Avon’s 88-50 win over Lewis Mills.
Kazell Stewart, Prince Tech: Had 29 points, 15 rebounds and five blocked shots in a 79-57 win over East Hartford.
Akili Evans, Holy Cross: Finished with 35 points in the Crusaders’ 90-84 win over Seymour in overtime. Also had 34 points and 15 rebounds in a 92-71 victory over Kennedy.
Davis Brown, Old Saybrook: Finished with 32 points in a 80-47 loss to Old Lyme.
Matt Knowling, East Catholic: Scored 32 points in East Catholic’s 61-38 win over E.O. Smith.
Dashon Gittens, Weaver: Had 33 points and seven rebounds in a 92-84 loss to Hartford Public. Had 34 points and 14 rebounds in a 77-72 loss to Naugatuck, then 29 points and 11 rebounds in a 66-62 loss to Hartford Public.
Jonathan Edwards, WCA: Had 33 points in a 83-79 loss to Holy Cross.
Jake Rosati, Masuk: Had 30 points and 10 rebounds in a 58-52 victory over Shelton. Also added 26 points, including a basket at the buzzer, to help the Panthers beat Bassick 56-54.
R.J. Hager, North Haven: Scored 36 points in a 77-66 win over Stratford. He added 31 points, including 10 for 10 from the free-throw line, in a 70-57 win over Lyman Hall.
Ta’zhon Daniels, Hillhouse: Had 29 points, including 10 of 12 from the free-throw line, seven assists, four blocks and four steals, in the Academics’ 65-60 won over Bassick.
Tremayne Carter, Platt: Finished with 30 points in a 82-76 loss to North Haven.
L.J. Hazelwood, Innovation: Finished with 22 points, 20 rebounds and eight blocks in a 76-43 win over MLC.
Damon Hill, Hartford Public and Corey McKeithan, Windsor: Hill scored 32 points for Public and McKeithan scored 30 points in Windsor’s 92-69 win.
Jayden Racca, New Fairfield: Scored 28 points and added 25 rebounds in 63-47 win over Northwestern.

Staples at Danbury, Tuesday, 7 p.m.: Amazingly, the only two remaining unbeatens in the entire FCIAC in less than three weeks of action.
Notre Dame-West Haven at Sheehan, 7 p.m.: Speaking of unbeatens, these two now reside in the same division: the SCC Housatonic.
Windsor at Hillhouse (Floyd Little Athletic Center), Wednesday, 7 p.m.: OK so Windsor isn’t undefeated like Hillhouse is, but the Warriors are still the team to beat in Division I. Back half of a home-and-home series.
Northwest Catholic at Glastonbury, Thursday, 6:45 p.m.: Two teams looking to hang with the top two (Windsor and East Catholic) in the CCC.
Sacred Heart at Crosby, Friday, 7 p.m.: The Palace should be rocking as the Hearts should bring a 109-game NVL winning streak to the Bulldogs’ home. Will they leave with it intact?
