Shane Christie, Hillhouse: Senior had 22 points and nine rebounds in a 59-45 win over Branford in the SCC tournament quarterfinals.
Eric Rankin, Stratford: Senior had a game-high 33 points in a 63-53 loss to Bunnell.
Sam Grigo, Westbrook: Senior had 18 points in the White Knights’ 69-44 win over Coginchaug in the Shoreline Conference tournament quarterfinals. Grigo now has 1,105 career points, third most in school history.
Dave Bradbury, Valley Regional: Junior had 21 points and six assists in a 66-46 win over Old Saybrook in the Shoreline Conference tournament semifinals and added 18 points in a 43-38 win over Coginchaug.
GAMES OF THE WEEK
Shoreline Conference tournament semifinals, Tuesday, 7 p.m.: A rematch of the last two champions square off in Cromwell as defending champion Valley Regional faces Cromwell while East Hampton travels to Westbrook. In both matchups the teams split during the regular season. Winners meet Friday at 7 p.m. at Wilbur Cross.
SWC tournament semifinals, Tuesday at Newtown, 6 and 8 p.m.: Defending champion Bunnell faces Weston in the opener and beat Weston by 30 during the regular season. Kolbe beat Barlow during the regular season, but Barlow comes off a win over top seed Notre Dame-Fairfield in the quarterfinals Saturday.
FCIAC tournament semifinals, Tuesday at Fairfield Warde, 6 and 8 p.m.: Greenwich faces Ridgefield in the opener while defending champion Bridgeport Central gets Stamford in the nightcap.
SCC Tournament final, Wednesday at TD Bank Sports Center, 7 p.m. (ESPNradio1300): Hillhouse is the defending champion, beating Fairfield Prep in last year’s final in overtime.
•Matt Vasquenza became the first player at East Hampton since 1997 to reach 1,000 points in his career. Vasquenza did so Saturday against Old Lyme in the Shoreline Tournament quarterfinals.
