Overview: Fairfield Prep earned the top seed as it looks to reach its fourth state final in the past five seasons. Westhill, which won its first FCIAC title since 1989, is the No. 2 seed.
Hartford Public, Ledyard and Hillhouse round out the top five seeds. Crosby, which gave top-ranked Sacred Heart its best two games of the season, is seeded seventh.
Hamden is seeded ninth and has the possibility of facing Fairfield Prep for a fourth time this season in the quarterfinals on Friday. Fellow SCC Quinnipiac Division rival Xavier will be seeded 11th and faces West Haven for a third time tonight.
Defending champion Bridgeport Central is the 21st seed and will play fellow FCIAC team Trumbull in the opening round tonight.
Seeded upsets on the horizon?: No. 19 Cheshire over No. 14 Stamford in the opening round. No. 10 Norwalk over No. 7 Crosby and No. 11 Xavier over No. 6 Simsbury in the second round.
Final four: No. 1 Fairfield Prep, No. 5 Hillhouse, No. 2 Westhill and No. 3 Hartford Public.
Champion: Westhill over Fairfield Prep
Overview: New London is one of two remaining undefeated teams after beating Ledyard for its seventh ECC championship in the last eight years. The Whalers are the top seed, followed by Middletown and Career, a finalist in this division last season and the reigning SCC champion.
Bunnell comes off its third straight SWC title and will try to reach its third straight L semifinal from the No. 5 seeded position. Newington is seeded fourth and Maloney is sixth.
Wilbur Cross is the No. 20 seed and plays at No. 13 Stratford in the opening round Tuesday. Defending champion Windsor, a CCC tournament finalist, is the No. 25 seed.
Seeded upsets on the horizon?: No. 25 Windsor over No. 8 Avon, No. 21 Notre Dame-West Haven over No. 12 Fitch, No. 18 Barlow over No. 15 Bethel and No. 22 Masuk over No. 11 Cheney Tech in the opening round. Windsor over No. 9 Bassick and No. 10 Wilton over No. 7 Naugatuck in the second round.
Final four: No. 1 New London, No. 5 Bunnell, No. 2 Middletown and No. 3 Career.
Champion: Career over Bunnell in a rematch of the season opener for both teams, won by Career.
Overview: Weaver comes off its second consecutive CCC championship and is the top seed here. The Beavers attempt to reach their third straight championship final.
Weaver lost to East Catholic last year and Granby in Class S in 2013. Both of those teams are in this class, Granby at No. 3 and East Catholic at No. 5, which means Weaver can face the defending champion for a fourth time this season (Weaver won all three matchups).
Notre Dame-Fairfield, a SWC tournament finalist, is the No. 6 seed. Ansonia is the No. 16 seed and Sheehan is 20th and will play at No. 13 Capital Prep in the opening round.
Seeded upsets on the horizon?: No. 24 Weston over No. 9 Prince Tech, No. 20 Sheehan over No. 13 Capital Prep, No. 21 Brookfield over No. 12 Nonnewaug, No. 18 St. Paul over No. 15 Suffield and No. 19 Immaculate over No. 14 Abbott Tech in the opening round. Weston over No. 8 Windham and St. Paul over No. 2 Northwestern in the second round.
Final four: No. 1 Weaver, No. 5 East Catholic, No. 7 Bacon Academy and No. 6 Notre Dame-Fairfield.

SMSA and Amistad are the No. 2 and 3 seeds, respectively, followed by Bloomfield at No. 4. Old Lyme, a Shoreline Conference tournament finalist, is No. 5 while Valley Regional, which won the league title Friday night, is the No. 6 seed and in the other half of the bracket.
Old Saybrook is 11th, Hyde 15th and Coginchaug 16th. All three Shoreline Conference schools will host first-round games.
